Hindi is the national language of India and is spoken by about 600 million people around the world.
It is written in the totally-cool Devanagari script, which is a phonetic alphabet.
Having a phonetic alphabet, it is fairly easy to pronounce words correctly the first time you read them (well, for the most part).
It is mainly derrived from the ancient language of Sanskrit, and also borrows words from Arabic, Portugese, and English.
One cool feature of the language is that the grammar and verb conjugation rules are fairly regular!
I have been learning Hindi for fun in my spare time. Many of the following pages were made for my own reference, but I hope that you may also find these pages useful.
